Year 11 Coursework Catchup
Year 11 students were given a day off timetable on Thursday 31 January to concentrate on coursework catch-up, mainly for science and technology subjects. The Raising Achievement Team were pleased with the work produced on the day. The following day, 1 February, Year 11s were also given the opportunity to be sixth formers for a day with a Taster day of classes held mainly in the sixth form block.

Photo gallery from 'The Oscars' which took place in Halifax on Friday 29 June as Year 11 students and staff celebrated the end of exams and the end of an 'era'.

Year 11 Leave: 21 May

	Mr Walker treated Year 11's to a slide show highlighting the events in the news in 2002 - the year they came to Calder High.
	This was followed with images of the students from when they arrived in Year 7. It was a fun, high-spirited event and great way to commemorate their time at the school. Some will be returning to Calder VI but many others will be moving on.
	We wish them all well with their exams and for the future.
