Adventure Racing World Championship: Keep up with Mr Emberton

Mr Emberton, Science teacher at Calder High, took part in a week long race during half term from 24 May to 2 June. Activities included mountain biking and kayaking...500km of non- stop run; bike; paddle; climb; swim; navigate. Planet Fear, Mr Emberton's team finished 4th out of the UK teams...and 22nd out of the 50 teams that competed. And this was with only 14 hours sleep over the six and a half day race!
