Calder High Wikis
This page includes links to wikis created by staff and students of Calder High School.

	Art Gallery View a display of student artwork at Calderart. The wiki has been set up by the Art department and features artwork from all year groups plus competitions and information about using Adobe Photoshop.
	History...journey through time The Historicalder site is an ongoing project set up by Miss L Newman and started by Year 8 students in 2007. All Calder High students are invited to participate and there is a step by step guide on how to take part.
	Calder News...student newsletter The Calder Eye team started using their wiki in March 2007 and have produced two printed newsletters. The team meets every week during school time and also communicate with each other through the wiki.
	Year 6 Reading Challenge 2008 Year 5 and 6 students from nine of our Primary feeder schools took part in Calder High's Reading Challenge. This year the students used a wiki called '6 reads' to communicate with each other during the three month project.

Definition:
A wiki is a website that can be viewed and modified by a number of people. It allows communication and collaboration for group project work.
